. ISP with Apache, MySQL, Qmail, TinyDNS and ProFTP
. Synchronization between operative and commercial management systems
ISP with Apache, MySQL, Qmail, TinyDNS and ProFTP
The use of free distribution Unix servers (FreeBSD, Open BSD, Linux) is the most common configuration in the market due to its economy and stability, guaranteeing the levels of reliability and security that an ISP requires, so that it becomes possible to provide service to more than 100,000 customers with high availability cluster configurations.
The configuration of the different servers involved results in a high cost in training and maintenance, lowering revenue.
The maintenance of the services being provided often implies the follow-up of great amounts of unconnected information, i.e. the elimination of a customer's mail accounts, or closing all of his/hers domains.
SASE solves such problems by allowing access to all the configurations associated with a customer and eliminating them through a single, simple interface.
Usually the handling and configuration of these services requires highly skilled, specialized personnel, due to interfaces that are not user-friendly and are difficult to configure. For example, closing a customer's account implies interacting with DNS (TinyDNS), Hosting (Apache/MySql/ProFTPd), and Email (Qmail/ Vpopmail/ Squirrelmail) servers. SASE can be used by non-specialized personnel because it operates with an intuitive Web interface that integrates the different configuration concepts of the services being used in a homogeneous fashion.
Synchronization between operative and commercial management systems
The lack of homogeneity between services servers and commercial management systems leads to the duplication of information and tasks, increasing the risks of errors in the processing of information.
The possibility of interconnection with commercial administration products allows for a centralized customers' list, the generation of automatic new-entry alarms from the administrative to the technical system and viceversa, or the blocking of accounts due to lack of payment. SASE can be adapted to different commercials systems, guaranteeing a greater control of the processes.
