The SMPP router constitutes the ideal solution when faced with the need for interaction between different SMS platforms and third-party external applications (ESME) that provide value-added services.
Thus, network and service architectures based on increasingly complex SMS can be handled in a simple fashion from a unique centralized node.

Furthermore, it allows the distribution of the operators' SMS traffic, optimizing network resources and the usage of the SMSC.

The SMPP router allows an unlimited definition of routing rules, with traffic of up to 5000 SMS per second, allowing for over 1000 possible simultaneous connections.

This system can be installed in Linux as well as Unix environments, which allows a quick and effective installation with simple and economical HW configurations (from a simple and economical industrial PC to server clusters with several processors).

Furthermore, the system allows the conversion of numbering based on prefixes and the delivery of messages, taking as a reference their origin as well as their destination. This convenient feature makes this system ideal for interchanging messages between different operators and technologies (GSM, TDMA and CDMA).

The entire system is managed from an intuitive Web Based interface, which makes a dynamic and effective operation possible without the need for expertise in the SMPP protocol.

This solution incorporates an advanced statistics and billing module through which online information on traffic and valuation parameters can be obtained.

This system includes the possibility of message flow control based on traffic volume or through an integration with the Cellular Operator's prepaid systems.
